Outlook 365 Push Notification To Outlook 2011 For Mac

Reminders will not go away after going from Outlook for Mac 2011 to Outlook 365 2016 for Mac. When clicking dismiss all the reminders do not get dismissed. We moved Outlook for Mac 2011 to the Trash and then emptied the trash. We then installed Outlook 365 2016 for Mac. After the install we re-created the user account. After all of the Email/calendar/reminders were downloaded. Some reminders will not go away after pressing 'Dismiss all'.

To do this, follow these steps: • Select the Office Reminders window.

So if I turn reminders off that will turn off reminders for my outlook 2016 as well. What we ended up doing was remove my account then re-added. That process took a long time, then after my account was re-added, and applied all updates, everything started working for about 3 hours, then a repair happened, the repair took 6 hours, then worked again (with the reminder issue still there), then another repair happened, took another 3 hours, then worked again, BUT this time the reminder issue went away.
