Canon Eos Digital Solution Disk Download For Mac

Although EOS Digital Solution Disk Software is now available to the public, Canon only announced it relatively late, while Canon EOS owners that could not find their bundled CD were deprived of.

I recently replaced my 7D to newly released 80D. I was using v2 of EOS utilities software to connect my old 7D but it doesn't recognize my 80D so I uninstall that and downloaded EOS Digital Solution Disk Software 31.1A for Mac OS X from canon site. When I double click to install the software it appears on my screen for a second then disappears. I couldn't install it at all. So i cannot connect my 80D to my computer. Is there anybody else having trouble installing it to a mac? If so how would you do that?

Any suggestion would be very appreciated I am using macbook pro (2012) running mac os x el capitan 10.11.5. I am running OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.5. I installed EOS Digital Solutions Disk Software 31.1A for Mac OS X last week. Can you open up Finder, double click on Downloads (in the left pane), and then double click on the ksdm31.1a-installer.dmg.zip file to unzip the file.

Then double click on the ksdm31.1a-installer.dmg file. At this point, double click on the ksdm31.1a-installer image (looks like a disk). Select the Open button in the popup window.

At this point follow the prompts. Note: I uninstalled my application and resintalled the application to test this out. Download microsoft office 2016 for mac download.

Thank you for your response. This was the instruction i followed. When i double click on ksdm31.1a-installer (the one with a cd like icon) it says extracting the files. When it finishes that same icon appears on my dock for a second (or less) and disappears then nothing happens. I also tried from a borrowed cd but nothing changed. If it works on your system smoothly then i assume it is my system that has a problem and i don't know what to do:/ i also allowed installing everything from system preferences -> security and privacy but did not help at all.
